The Ile Saint Louis is one of the most enchanting places to stay in Paris. It is delightfully unspoiled and has handsome 17th century architecture, a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, food shops and many pretty tea houses. There are narrow streets and magnificent views from tree-lined quays. Many of the most important sites of Paris are located nearby: the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Gardens, Cathedral Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter and Le Marais are all within walking distance.
